Chika P Zumuk
Chika is a third-year PhD student whose research focuses on combating Schistosoma japonicum through the development of mRNA-based transmission-blocking vaccines. The integration of effective transmission-blocking vaccines with existing mass drug administration (MDA) programs represents a promising strategy for achieving sustainable schistosomiasis control and improving global public health outcomes in endemic regions.
