Shahana Ahmed

Dr Shahana Ahmed is a CERC Postdoctoral Fellow at CSIRO. She is a veterinarian and infectious disease scientist with expertise in genomics and host–pathogen interactions. Shahana completed her PhD in Molecular Bacteriology and Infections at the University of Copenhagen, followed by a NIH funded postdoctoral fellowship in molecular biology at Tufts Medical School in the United States. Her current research investigates the interaction between Lumpy Skin Disease Virus and the bovine host using multi-omics approaches.
