Yan YW Wu
Dr. Wu is a tenured Professor at the school of Basic Medical Sciences, Capital Medical University. She obtained her Ph.D. in the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2017 and established her own lab at Capital Medical University in 2020. Wu’s lab research primarily focuses on the mechanism of viral infection and the antibody development against infectious diseases. Her research findings have been published in academic journals such as Science, Nature Immunology, PNAS, Cell Research, Nature Microbiology, etc. She was funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, BBSRC (collaborated with Dr. Alain Kohl in University of Glasgow) and Beijing Natural Science Foundation. She is the member of Chinese Academy of Sciences Youth Innovation Association. She was honored with the VCANBIO award in 2019 for her innovative work in life sciences and medicine. In 2021, she received the 14th Wu Mengchao Medical Youth Fund Award for her outstanding achievements in medical research.
